西東京市で中学生・高校生に勉強を教えるボランティア募集　Volunteers needed to teach JH and HS students in Nishitokyo-City

経済的な事情で学習塾に通っていない中学生・高校生を対象に無料の学習支援を行います。

勉強の見守りや分からないところの質問対応をお願いしています。
会場は保谷駅前公民館（保谷駅徒歩1分）です。

You provide free study assistance for JH and HS students who cannot attend tutoring schools due to their financial circumstances.

Please watch over their studies and respond to their questions.
The venue is Hoyaekimae-Community-Center (1 minute on foot from Hoya station.)

概要｜Outline

募集団体	無料塾「保谷いちご塾」
活動日程	随時活動（活動期間：応相談）毎週水曜日18時半〜21時で活動を予定しています。参加できる時だけのご参加で構いません。2023年2月より無料塾開講予定です。
活動場所	保谷駅前公民館を予定（西武池袋線保谷駅徒歩1分）

Organizations: Free tutoring school ‘Hoya Ichigo Juku’
Schedule: As needed (Period: Negotiable)
Activities are scheduled every Wednesday from 6:30pm to 9pm. You may participate only when you can. Free tutoring will begin in February 2023.
Place: It’s planned to be held at Hoyaekimae- Community Center. (1 miniute on foot from Seibuikebukuro-line Hoya station)

活動内容

生徒：講師＝1：1もしくは、2：1での個別対応を予定しています。

学習会ではボランティア講師お一人ずつに生徒さんを割り振り、隣で学習の様子を見ていただきながら、適宜質問対応など行っていただきます。

応募条件

大学生、専門学生、社会人

生徒たちと年齢の近い20代、30代の方を募集しています。

無償ボランティア

Details: We will schedule by Student: Teacher = 1 on 1 or 2 on 1.
During the study session, each volunteer will be assigned as an instructor for some students, and will be able to observe their progress and respond to their questions when needed.
Application Requirements: University students, vocational students, working adults
We are looking for people in their 20s and 30s who are close in age to our students.
Treatment: Free volunteer work

応募～活動の流れ

ご応募いただいたボランティア講師の方は事前に代表者と面談をします。面談で確認することは以下の通りです。

1.中学生・高校生とスムーズに日本語で会話ができるかどうか
2.勉強を教える適性があるかどうか
3.学習会の出欠等毎回ご連絡いただけるか

※学習会は毎回参加できなくても問題ありませんが、無断欠席が続く場合はご退会いただいています。

面談の結果、ボランティア講師に登録できるかどうかが決まります。

Flow of activities from application:
Volunteer instructors will meet with representatives in advance.
Items to be checked include.
1. Able to converse smoothly in Japanese with junior high and high school students.
2. Aptitude for teaching learners.
3. Allow to be contacted to attend every study session, etc.
* It is not a problem if you cannot attend every study session, but if you continue to be absent without notice, you will be asked to leave the group.
The results of the interview will determine whether or not you can register as a volunteer instructor.
