骨髄バンクのドナー不足を解消するには、若年層のより一層の理解と協力が必要です。
そこで、「命のつどい」では、全国各地において、バレエ・ジャズダンス・フラダンス・ベリーダンス・HIPHOPなど様々なジャンルの皆様に、華やかで楽しいステージを披露いただくことで、会場にいらした多くのお客様に、骨髄バンクの必要性・骨髄移植についての正しい知識やドナー登録方法を知っていただく普及啓発・広報活動を行っています。
Young people are expected to increase their understanding and cooperation to help address the shortage of bone marrow donors.
That is why events called “Inochi no Tsudoi” are being held nationwide. Dancers specializing in ballet, jazz, hula, belly dance, hip-hop, and other styles come together to perform in a vibrant and entertaining show, which serves as an awareness-raising and promotional activity. This allows many attendees to learn about the necessity of bone marrow banks, gain accurate knowledge about bone marrow transplants, and find out how to register as a donor.

About a 10-minute walk from either JR Ibaraki Station or Hankyu Ibaraki-shi Station.

Volunteer Activities:
Volunteers will assist with various tasks at this bone marrow transplant and donor registry awareness event, including:
– Setting up the lobby area, including informational boards and videos about bone marrow donation and the donor registry
– Helping at the reception desk and directing visitors around the venue
– Making announcements and assisting with audio playback
– Laying linoleum flooring on the stage
– Assisting with other stage-related tasks
Volunteer Date and Shifts:
Saturday, October 10, 2026
You may choose one or more of the following shifts:
1. 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
2. 1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m.
3. 5:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m.
Application Deadline: October 7, 2026
What to Wear: Please wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move around easily.
Volunteer Capacity: Up to 10 volunteers per shift.
Lunch will be provided for volunteers who participate in both Shift 1 and Shift 2.

Eligibility:
High school students through people in their 60s
For international participants, Japanese language proficiency is not required, but please communicate via email in Japanese.
